U Myint Swe

U Myint Swe, Director General was born in Kan Thit Village, Magway Township on 24th May, 1974 and he is the second youngest son of U Aung Nyein and Daw Tin Nyo. He attended Primary School in Kan Thit Village from 1981 to 1986 and Middle School in Kan Thar Gyi Village from 1986 to 1990 and then High School in B.E.H.S No. (2) Magway from 1990 and 1992. In 1993 after the completion of his high school education, he was selected as Officer Cadet and under-went training Intake (38) at the Defence Services Academy. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Science (Defence Services Academy) and obtained P.D.C.S (Second Semester) from the University of Yangon. In 1997, he was appointed as a gazette officer in Army and served in various units such as No. (2) Tank Regiment, Office of the Directorate of the Artillery and Armour Corps as well as also at the Artillery and Armour training school. He was transferred to civil service organization on 29-3-2004 and was appointed as an assistant director in the Civil Service Affairs Department of the Civil Selection and Training Board. He was promoted to a deputy director on 29-9-2004 in the Civil Service Affairs Department then transferred to the Civil Service Selection and Training Board Office as a head of division (deputy director). He was promoted to a deputy principal officer (deputy director) in the Head Office on 11-4-2009 and was promoted as a Director in the Civil Service Affairs on 1-9-2010 and transferred again to be a deputy principal officer (director) of the Union Civil Service Board on 1-11-2011. He is serving as a principal officer/ deputy permanent secretary/ deputy director general at the Affiliated Office of the Chairman of UCSB since 31-5-2016. At present, U Myint Swe has been promoted and appointed as Director General of office of Chairman in Union Civil Service Board by office of State Administration Council’s notification No. 116/2022 on the date 1-7-2022.
